Question #12
Are there limits on
the number of transfers I can make?
Answer:
Some accounts, such
as checking accounts, have no limits on the number of transfers you can
make. However, many savings accounts, by Federal Regulation, are allowed no
more than six preauthorized withdrawals or transfers per month. If
you're unsure whether your account has this restriction, please contact your
nearest branch location.
Question #13
When will my
transfer take place?
Answer:
All transfers take
place in real time.
Question #14
What about
security? Is my financial information safe here?
Answer:
This is a common
concern with Internet Banking. Technology has been developed to
safeguard data through encryption of information, creating secure systems that
can only be crossed with authorized passwords, and by creating safe pathways to
and from each system.
Any kind of breach
in the security of our systems would be a serious business issue for Lyons
National Bank. Our success as a financial institution depends on our ability to
manage these systems safely and to continue to earn your trust as our customer.
Please be assured that we will go to every measure possible to protect
the financial information and resources you have entrusted to us.
You can help
safeguard your information and the banking systems by protecting your password.
The password is the only way to get access into your account. Please keep your
password secure. Also, securing your PC that you are currently using to access
LNB Online Banking is just as important.
Question #15
What else does the
Bank do to protect my accounts and personal information?
Answer:
LNB Online Banking has
a session termination feature if you are not actively using the system after 15
minutes. Your private information, such as your Password, will never be
displayed or asked for in correspondence with Lyons National Bank.
Question #16
What can I do to
protect my accounts and personal information while I am banking online?
Answer:
While Lyons
National Bank does everything it can to protect the confidentiality of
your online information, we can't do it alone. You also share in the
responsibility for the security of your account information and should
always follow the recommendations listed below. NEVER reveal your Password to
anyone - ever! You are the only one who should know your Password. Lyons
National Bank will generate a Password that will be sent to you by U.S. mail.
We require that you change your Password after your first logon, and
recommend that you change your Password at regular intervals. While we
will make every reasonable effort to maintain the privacy and security
of your account information, we cannot be responsible for the
confidentiality of your Password once it has been received by you. No
employee of Lyons National Bank will contact you and ask for your Sign-On ID or
Password.
Don't leave your PC
while you are logged in to the online banking system. When you finish
your online banking session, you should use the Logoff button and close the
browser.
We strongly recommend that if you suspect that someone knows your Password,
that you change it immediately online. Simply login using your Sign-On ID and
Password. Once you are logged in, click on "Change Password" under
"Customer Services" in the Navigation bar. This will allow you
to designate a new Password. Always keep in mind that you should NEVER
share your Password with anyone.
Question #17
What if I have a
question or need to talk to the bank?
Answer:
Send us a message!
Just click on "Messages" in the Navigation Bar and then select
"Send a Message." We'll respond as quickly as we can during normal
business hours. And remember, this is your one-to-one connection with Lyons
National Bank so everything you send is secure. Or, you can contact any
Lyons National Bank Branch during normal business hours.
